    makes sense to me.

G-d did make a woman pregnant and the infant was G-d in human form. We see in Genesis 3, G-d promises that the Seed of the Woman would crush the head of the serpent. Notice the man was deliberately excluded, suggesting a virgin birth. And notice that G-d said, in marah you shall bring forth children. Translated into English, that’s, “in Mary you will bring forth children.”

And yes, Jesus was the divinely-appointed sacrifice for our sins. In Genesis, G-d asks Abraham to sacrifice Isaac. Abraham (almost) obeys. Now, why wouldn’t G-d agree to sacrifice His Son for Abraham and Abraham’s children?

It definitely makes sense to me.
